Botox (Full Face)
What Is It?
Botulinum toxin temporarily blocks nerve-muscle transmission by interacting with nerve endings, which causes temporary relaxation of muscles. It is used in wrinkle treatment. Botox is applied to 5 areas: forehead, crow's feet, between the eyebrows, bunny lines, and the nose tip if needed. It temporarily blocks the signal going to the muscles. Thus: The muscle relaxes, the skin above it appears smoother, wrinkles are reduced. Its effect lasts an average of 3–6 months.
